About Me

Hi, I’m Wren! I am a current first-year student at Oberlin College studying writing and studio art. I am also a visual artist, comic creator, author, and a hobbyist web designer. Much of my work is centered around finding artistry in imperfection, and the value of visible human touch. In a world where so much is automated and optimized, I aim to emphasize the joy found within the creative process, rather than the results it produces. This isn’t always easy. Afterall, the act of painting a picture in and of itself can’t pay a utility bill. However, I strongly believe that a maker’s dedication to their craft often shines through in the quality of their work.

I spend my free time wandering around Oberlin, OH and annoying my friends by insisting we stop to pet every dog we see. When I’m not at school, I am based in Baltimore, MD, a city which has my heart completely. I enjoy exploring the Inner Harbor, and I can frequently be found wandering the halls of one of Baltimore’s many museums.
